The East Asian Library at UC Berkeley contacted BMH for a drawer cabinet storage solution. They were looking to store large flat items and in a public area. Because the cabinets had to be built for public use, they needed to be strong and reliable; they also had to be aesthetically pleasing to complement the beautiful design of the library. After researching options, we found the perfect solution: Flat file cabinets by Steel Fixtures – they are an industry leader in producing high quality archival cabinets and have been doing so for many years. Not only did the cabinets come out looking great but the build quality is fantastic. Finally, we added work surface tops to finish them off.
